House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) got in a light-hearted dig at Vice President Joe Biden today, CNN reports.

At a dedication event for the Ernest “Fritz” Hollings Special Collections Library, Clyburn introduced Biden: “Ladies and gentleman, it’s a pleasure for me to present to you a mainstream American who is an articulate and bright and clean and a nice looking guy.” Biden then grinned and hugged Clyburn.

Clyburn was referring to then-Senator (and then-presidential candidate) Biden’s remarks in January 2007, when he offered this explanation of Barack Obama’s appeal: “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.” Biden apologized shortly afterward — and interestingly enough, went on to become Obama’s running mate.

NBCs The Office which airs on Thursday nights offers a wildly funny cast and plot for viewing pleasure.

The most recent episode of the show the Banker offers viewers a hilarious recap of what has gone on throughout the seasons as well as a funny real time comedy.

While a banker is visiting the office trying to figure out the liability issues of the company he asks questions about the Scranton branch and what goes on. while head human resource man Toby answers the banker it flashes back to times in the show that contradict what is being said.

Using relevant trends going on in society today, like the ever popular wedding video on Youtube.com, and popular artists like Lady Gaga, the show offers a new and comedic way of looking at life and having fun, even if its at work and someone is trying to buy your company, like in this episode.

The show which is even funny for first time viewers is one of the most original shows on television right now. Theres a little something for everyone, and the creativity within the show while using popular trends to todays viewers is something unique to this show almost in its own. Its originality is what makes it so funny. You cant help but wonder where they think of things like these.

There is a character everyone can relate to, they talk about things most people know about, and they make fun out of everything. the half hour long episodes are just the right way to wind down and relax after a long day at work or school.
